Noelle's world is turned upside down when she learns that a secret sisterhood known as the Hive may be responsible for her friend's death and others. If Noelle and Gabriel cannot fight their way through the labyrinth of lies and secrets surrounding the Hive, then she may be next. Rating 3 STARS*** I'm not sure how rate this book- I was torn..... Great story line which has me interested in book 2- However there were a lot of editing problems within the story. This is a good read was an interesting story line, but it seemed to fall a little flat for me. This story started off strong and kinda sizzled out. I loved the characters and am thinking book two should pick up. There were a couple issues that bothered me one being overuse of the same words. (Clam it- was one) With that being said I'm still going to give book 2 a try and see what direction this story goes in because it has major potential.

Review~ Temptation by Karen Ann Hopkins

Release Date: June 26, 2012 | Series: Harlequin Teen Your heart misleads you. That's what my friends and family say. But I love Noah. And he loves me. We met and fell in love in the sleepy farming community of Meadowview, while we rode our horses together through the grassy fields and in those moments in each other's arms. It should be ROSE & NOAH forever, easy. But it won't be. Because he's Amish. And I'm not. Review_ 4 Stars**** First- let me start by saying that this is not normally my type of read. However, when you put the words together He's Amish and She's Not- you've got my attention. 16yr old Rose and her family move into a house in the country side next store to Noah and his Amish family and a forbidden love unfolds..... I loved this story_ I have to admit that this was the first book of 2012 to make me shed a tear (just one single tear though) at the last page. Temptation was a new and unique read for me~ There were about 2-3 chapters where I began to get a tiny bit board with the story, but I kept pushing through and I'm so glad that I did. The character were interesting and well developed. The plot & dialog in Temptation was fantastic. I felt like I was able to learn about the Amish Community with one of the main characters (Rose) in a realistic way..... Karen Ann Hopkins wrote a well balance story with ups and downs that tempted you to keep flipping the pages. Also, I look forward to second installment in this series. (I can not wait) I encourage everyone to read this book even if it's not you type of read. I read this on my Kindle, but I plan on adding this one to my shelves. Thank You to NetGalley and the Publisher for approving me to read this title on my Kindle!

Review~ Nick the Lolt: Tales from Yod (Volume 1) by Anthony M. Briggs Jr.

This tale is the beginning of the most controversial life. The story of a man who – by himself – caused regions to evacuate like the approach of a hurricane. Many would only whisper of him, the dreaded Marsh King… But at sixteen he was just Nick, a boy who made paintbrushes that obeyed his commands. He could paint pictures that made passersby forget where they were going. In those days he wanted to earn forgiveness (and maybe a bit more) from an outgoing girl he'd known off and on since he was four. And to save his village, by winning the most elite speed-painting tournament of all time. This village, however, wanted nothing more than for him to leave. Years of being a target of its scorn and bullies taught Nick a few tricks, though. And he and his few friends would need every last one of them. Because even as a teen he'd already made some dangerous enemies... Review~ 5 Stars***** I really enjoyed Nick the Lolt: Tales of Yod by Anthony M. Briggs Jr. First I want to mention that the cover is Super and I wish I had my own personal copy for my shelves~ (I read Nick the Lolt on my kindle) This is a fantastic story with superb characters and an awesome plot. I look forward to the second installment to this series.... Character are likable and the story ensures you keep turning the pages. A well written story that brings these characters to life*** I would recommend this book to all- This is a favorite of mine for 2012- The Land of Yod is worth the money to put on your book shelf :) Thanks! Review~ Professor Gargoyle (Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #1) by Charles Gilman

Release Date: September 25, 2012 | Age Level: 9 and up | Grade Level: 4 and up | Series: Tales from Lovecraft Middle School “Two-headed monsters, giant tentacles, angry demons – Lovecraft Middle School is great creepy fun!” –Ransom Riggs, author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Strange things are happening at Lovecraft Middle School. Rats are leaping from lockers. Students are disappearing. The school library is a labyrinth of secret corridors. And the science teacher is acting very peculiar – in fact, he just might be a monster-in-disguise. Twelve-year-old Robert Arthur knew that seventh grade was going to be weird, but this is ridiculous! Professor Gargoyle (Volume I in the Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series) is full of bizarre beasts, strange mysteries, and nonstop adventure. It's perfect for readers ages 10 and up. Best of all, the cover features a state-of-the-art “morphing” photo portrait – so you can personally witness the professor transforming into a monster. You won't believe your eyes! “Gilman's debut and series kick-off is great fun for fans of light horror. The changing image on the cover will snag interest, and the spookily realistic black-and-white illustrations throughout complete this slick, scary, funny package. [There are] delectable hints of age-appropriate, Lovecraftian Otherness...with none of the purple prose.” –Kirkus Reviews Review~ 4 1/2 Stars* I won a copy of Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #1: Professor Gargoyle (Strange Tales) by Charles Gilman in a giveaway on Library Thing. Review~ Legend of the Phoenix: Rise of the Crescent by Gabriel Gonzalaz

In a world of grand cities, magnificent castles, and powerful Races lies a legend that the world has long forgotten. A legend that through time, has faded. The story of the once all powerful Phoenix Clan and their battles against the menacing Beasts, is now a mythical story, often told to children as a bedtime story. The young children of the world of Pardes can be seen playing in the streets of their towns pretending to be the Phoenix Clan fighting the evil Beasts. The legend of the Phoenix has been long forgotten.

Shadow thinks he’s a regular guy destined to live a life of boredom. If it weren’t for his best friend Kale, one of Gaia’s lackluster, womanizing soldiers, he wouldn’t have a connection with anyone. The sight of his father is about as rare as seeing an ancient Beast. Once he meets Princess Emerald, and her two Luna trainers, Sage and Katrina, his entire life takes a turn.

The Aakesh Race are trying to kill him, he’s starting to be able to control the power of Spirit, and worst of all he finds himself falling in love with the Princess of Gaia. Rumors of the return of Beasts are beginning to swirl. Towns are being destroyed; Kings and Queens are missing, and the power of Spirit that the Luna control is acting strange. Shadow learns that his own power to control Spirit isn’t like anyone else’s in the world.
As evil rises, Shadow is about to discover the secrets of a legend that has been hidden from the world for a thousand years. The goodness of his heart will be challenged, every belief will be tested, and his love for Emerald will take him down a frightening, deadly path. If he cannot overcome the darkness that fills his thoughts, millions of people will die, and the world of Pardes will face a sorrow that it has never known before

His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myth and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten. Rating 5 Stars*** Review~ BRING IT ON JULIE KAGAWA~ MORE-PLEASE*** OF THIS SPIN OFF SERIES.... The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten* Superb- The first book was a delightful start for this series- The Lost Prince was packed with imagination, action, suspense, & more creative writing. Also filled with fun* fresh* new~characters (Ethan -Kenzie and -Kierran) This book will have you burning through the pages revisiting the world that Julie Kagawa creates. I have to admit that I had some issues around chapters 6-10 where I almost got annoyed (repeating.. seeming drug out- I feared it would not stop) but by chapter Julie hit a home-run for me and I never looked back. Though- I think this was necessary for the character's development (Ethan's) which for me all character's were likable & developed well. I enjoyed the descriptions of the different colored bugs that were landing on Kenzie's arm- (that would have been neat to see if it were real) I do not want to say too much- The romance was light~(perfect) and thumbs up for *no* Insta~Love :) I loved this book 5 stars.... I can not wait to continue on with the series (did someone say Pre-Order) Huge thank you to NetGalley and Publisher for granting me access to this title- Awesome Book- Thank You! Reesa***

Rating~ 4 Stars*** Review~ I won an ARC of Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Green in a giveaway for free on Goodreads First/Reads. This is the first book I've read that gives the public some actual insight, and I would recommend this story to all. Enjoyable Story- Emotional- Likable Characters, & Creative~Writing- Thank You!!!
